Coach Profile:
Head Coach Matt Kernutt has over a decade of soccer coaching experience including coaching with Chinqually Booters and is a member of the Chinqually Board. Matt has his United Soccer Coaches National License and is working on obtaining his advanced national license. Matt’s goals for the 2013 Boys Navy team are to develop a family-centered environment designed to aid player development while also fostering a continued love for the beautiful game of soccer. Matt utilizes small-sided games designed to improve field spacing, positional discipline, and individual as well as team play skills. Matt works as an attorney with the State of Washington. He is married with two kids in the North Thurston School District.
